The service

Spirit Art Mentor provides structured mentoring feedback on drawings you upload, for the purpose of developing your Spirit Portrait drawing skills. Feedback is educational guidance on visible artwork and drawing technique.

What the service does not do

Spirit Art Mentor does not and cannot determine whether a Spirit communication is genuine, whether a portrait depicts a real deceased person, who a Spirit communicator may be, whether information has been received psychically, or whether you have mediumistic ability. Development scores measure drawing development only, and are not a judgement of artistic worth or of mediumship.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account.

Credits

One credit entitles you to one drawing submission and one complete mentor report. Credits are personal to your account and are not transferable. If a report fails to generate for technical reasons, the credit is returned to your balance automatically.

Credit validity

Purchased Mentor Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Once that period ends, any unused credits from that purchase are no longer available for use. Complimentary Mentor Credits, including loyalty and progress rewards, are valid for 30 days from the date they are awarded; they have no cash value and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash. Credits held before these validity periods were introduced remain available without an expiry date. Refunds and cancellation rights are set out in our Refund & Digital Services Policy.

Cancellations and refunds

You may ask us to cancel a purchase and refund the unused Mentor Credits from it within 14 days of buying them, either from your Mentor Credits page or by contacting us. Every request is reviewed by a person, and we confirm the outcome and any refund amount with you; sending a request does not itself refund any money. Where a credit has already been used and the mentor report has been delivered, we will normally not refund that credit, as the report has been provided. While a request is being reviewed, the unused credits from that purchase are held to one side and are not available to spend; they are returned to your balance if you withdraw the request or if it is not approved. An approved refund normally covers the unused credits from that purchase only, worked out pro rata, and is returned to the original payment method. Nothing here affects your statutory rights. Where a refunded purchase had counted towards a Loyalty Reward, it no longer counts, and any unused complimentary credit awarded from it is removed. Full details are in our Refund & Digital Services Policy.

Your artwork

You retain all rights in the artwork you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your artwork solely to produce and display your mentor reports and development history. You must only upload work you created or have permission to submit, and you must not upload unlawful or offensive material.

Acceptable use

You may not resell, redistribute or publish mentor report content as your own teaching material, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or automate access to the platform.

Closing your account

You may ask us to close your account at any time from your Profile page. We record the request and pause new uploads, reports and purchases. Nothing is deleted during a cooling-off period of at least 7 days, and after that period the request waits to be reviewed by Anne-Marie before anything irreversible happens. Closure does not happen automatically on day 7. You may cancel the request at any time while it is still waiting, and carry straight on; once the irreversible closure process has begun, it can no longer be cancelled.

Closure cannot be completed while there is an outstanding financial, payment, refund or service process that needs to be settled first — such as an open refund request, an unfulfilled purchase, credits held to one side, or a report or Mentor Visual still being prepared. Closing your account is not a request for a refund and creates no new refund entitlement: if you are still inside the 14-day cancellation period for unused purchased credits, please complete the refund process first. On completion, any remaining credits are forfeited and have no cash value, your creative work is permanently removed, your account and sign-in access are removed so you can no longer sign in, and we keep payment, refund and consent records in pseudonymised form as set out in our Privacy Policy.

If you have already used your one free Mentor Taster, closing your account and later opening a new one does not create another free Taster entitlement. To make this possible without keeping your personal details, we retain only a one-way marker derived from your email address, which cannot be read back or used to contact you.

Availability and liability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Mentoring feedback is guidance, not a guarantee of any particular result or improvement. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the credits you have purchased.

Governing law
